Game Boy gets US Work Permit

Emmanuel Tagoe’s scheduled fight in the US against Ronald Robbles had to be postponed from the initial June 22 date to a later date yet to be confirmed due to the delay in visa acquisition by the Ghanaian boxer and his team.

Boxing In Ghana can however now confirm that Tagoe and his technical team have all been granted the US work permits and will now make the trip to the United States to begin the new phase in the career of the boxer on a 3-year management and promotional deal with BabyJet Promotions.

Tagoe has vowed to repay the confidence exuded in him by BabyJet Promotions owner, Asamoah Gyan and the entire team so much he has promised to win world title within a year.

Now he gets the opportunity to test his credentials in the US when BabyJet Promotions make history by co-staging their own promotions in New York.

“We have confidence in Game Boy and we believe he will soon be world champion. We pledge our unflinching support for him in the quest and taking him to the USA which is the Mecca of boxing is a step in the right direction,” Baffour Gyan, Manager / Agent of Tagoe told www.sportsinghana.com in an exclusive interview.
