Genoa close in on Yussif Raman Chibsah

Frosinone midfielder Yussif Raman Chibsah is close to joining Genoa.

The defensive midfielder will not stay at Frosinone following their relegation to Serie B and the Rossoblu have emerged as front runners to sign him.

According to Italian sports portal Corriere dello sport, the Griffins are the favourites to land Chibsah and they will pay an amount close to 1.3 million Euros for his signature.

Genoa finished 17th in the Serie A last season and will be hoping to improve upon it this coming campaign.
