GFA presidential hopeful Mr George Afriyie has sent his congratulatory message to Madam Habiba Atta Forson for her electoral victory in the Ghana Football Association race.
Madam Habiba Attah on Thursday made history by becoming the first woman to be elected to serve on the women's slot of the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association after coasting to the electoral victory by the slimmest margin.
Minutes after the announcement of the results, George Afriyie, who has promised to make develop women's football took to his social media pages to congratulate the founder of Fabulous ladies football club.
"Your long service in the game has been duly rewarded and Ghana football will be in good hands, he said.
"May we join hands to give it our best shot for the nation."
