Former Ghanian born German footballer, Gerald Asamoah has received a donation to support his foundation which aims to help children with heart disease.
The 40-year-old engaged several individuals in a fundraising dinner over the weekend.
However, the Schalke 04 legend at the end received a whopping €100,000 in total to support his course.
Asamoah spent most of his life in Germany where he became the first African-born black player to ever play for the German National team and featured at the 2002 and 2006 FIFA World Cups in Korea-Japan and Germany respectively earning over 43 caps for the European side.
