Ghana 2008 boss for Sporting Champion Awards

The Chief Operating Officer of Ghana 2008 MTN/CAF Nations Cup, Magnus Rex-Danquah, has been invited for Sporting Champion's 15th Anniversary cum Awards Night according to ARK FM SPORTS CENTER information gathered.

Mr.Rex Danquah, who is going on the invitation of the executive management of Champion Newspapers Limited, has already confirmed that he will be in Lagos for the event billed for the Eko Hotel and Suites on December 7. The Chief Operating Officer of Ghana 2008 MTN/CAF Nations Cup, Magnus Rex-Danquah, has been invited for Sporting Champion's 15th Anniversary cum Awards Night.

The top Ghanaian soccer buff will serve as Guest Speaker at the awards and will speak on the topic: "Ghana 2008; a celebration of African talent and spirit." Champion Newspapers Limited Managing Director/Editor-In-Chief, Ugo Onuoha, elated by Danquah's acceptance to be in Lagos for the event said the development goes to confirm the high profile nature of the event. "It is an Awards Night that will attract sports personalities from within and outside the country. We are happy the most important man as far as football in Africa at the moment is concerned, Mr. Rex Danquah, is coming for the Awards.

"We will want to hear him speak on how prepared our Ghanaian brothers are for the Cup of Nations coming up early next year," Onuoha said.
