Ghana Insurers Association Games on Sep. 27

Accra, Sep. 13, GNA - This year's Ghana Insurers Association Fun Games will be held at the El-Wak Sports Stadium in Accra on Saturday, September 27.

Mr Gabriel Glover, Executive Secretary of the Association who announced this at the end of the Association's Walk held as part of activities marking the 'Insurance Awareness Month' in Accra on Saturday said about 30 members of the association are expected to participate in the games of Soccer, Volleyball, Tug-Of-War, Ampe and Sac-Race. He named some of the companies expected to take part in the one-day games as Capital Express Assurance Limited, CDH Insurance Company, Donewell Insurance Company Limited, Enterprise Insurance company Limited, Enterprise Life Insurance Company Limited, Ghana Re-Insurance Company State Insurance Company of Ghana Limited, Ghana Union Assurance and Metropolitan Insurance Limited.. The walk which started from the premises of the National Insurance Commission through the Makola Market to Circle through Osu, ended at the starting point.

Mr Glover said the aim of the walk was to make the insurance industry visible to the public and also demystify all perceptions about the industry.

He advised the public to study the documents of insurance contract very carefully when they buy them. Other activities planned for the month-long celebration which is under the theme "Making Insurance work for you" includes public lecture, Insurance Awards and Dinner Dance. 13 Sept. 08
