Mexico take on Ghana in one of two friendlies in London on Wednesday evening, and the game will give England-based fans the opportunity to see several up and coming football stars in the flesh.
There’s no place for Guillermo Ochoa in the Mexico lineup unfortunately - Ochoa has been closely followed by top European clubs such as Manchester United and AC Milan, and some pundits expect him to move to Europe this summer or the next.
London-based Arsenal fans will also be hoping to catch Carlos Vela in action - the Arsenal youngster is on loan at Osasuna and is tipped to have a big future ahead of him. Barcelona youngster Dos Santos is also in with a chance to get a game - his agent has been angling for a move away from the Catalan club in the hopes of a) getting Dos Santos a better contract at Barca or b) getting him a better contract elsewhere.
Essien and Muntari are expected to be in the starting lineup for Ghana - although I doubt that either (Essien in particular) will play more than 45-60 minutes). Ghana Squad Mexico Squad
Goalkeepers: Oswaldo Sanchez (Santos Laguna), Moises Munoz (Morelia), Jesus Corona (Tecos UAG)
Defenders: Carlos Salcido (PSV Eindhoven), Ricardo Osorio (VfB Stuttgart), Aaron Galindo (Eintracht Frankfurt), Fausto Pinto (Pachuca), Israel Castro (Pumas UNAM), Julio Cesar Dominguez (Cruz Azul)
Midfielders: Pavel Pardo (VfB Stuttgart), Andres Guardado (Deportivo Coruna), Fernando Arce (Santos Laguna), Gerardo Torrado (Cruz Azul), Antonio Naelson (Toluca) Forwards: Carlos Vela (Osasuna), Antonio De Nigris (Ankaraspor), Nery Castillo (Manchester City), Juan Carlos Cacho (Pachuca), Adolfo Bautista (Chiapas), Guillermo Franco (Villarreal), Giovani Dos Santos (Barcelona)
