Berekum Chelsea confirmed their home superiority with an emphatic 2-0 win over Dreams at the Golden City Park in Berekum in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Seth Appiah connected a Saddick Adams cross home in the first-half before Saddick Adams claimed the maximum points for Solomon Ojo's men with a powerful finish.

C K Akunnor's charges went into the tie aiming to restore their campaign after slipping against Kotoko in midweek.

Former Atletico Madrid B attacker Saddick Adams tormented the visitors area with his high-energy pressing play but failed to find the net.

Emmanuel Hayford who returned from suspension tried to wave a magic for Dreams but he was stopped in his tracks.

Chelsea eventually took the lead through Seth Appiah in the dying embers of the first-half.

The orchestrator of goal was Saddick Adams. The attacker skirted around the right flanks before tailing a thrilling cross for Appiah to connect home, beating Mozart Adjetey in the Dreams goal.

Saddick Adams doubled the lead for Chelsea when he exerted himself in the area before pouncing on a loose ball to cushion the lead for Solomon Ojo's men.

Akunnor tried to get into the game by tinkering with his side as he introduced Kingsley Yeboah for Johnson Oppong but it failed to work out.

But Saddick Adams sealed the victory for the home side when he fired a bullet home in the second half.
