Ghana Football Association Executive Committee member Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer admits Ghana’s top flight league is unattractive.
The vice chairman for the Black Stars management committee adds the Ghana Premier League can’t be compared to other leagues on the continent.
Though he indicated the competitiveness level of the league is high, he said several things ought to be done to ensure the league is attracted to investors and the supporters of various clubs.
“The competitiveness of the league is high” He told Accra based Asempa fm
“But I must admit that, the league is not attractive. That one is a fact”
“Even the pitches alone doesn’t make our game attractive” He added
“You can see attractiveness and quality display when teams played on the Astro turf at Tema and Sogakokpe”
The Ghana Premier League League which is currently ongoing enters week six this weekend as giants Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak play Bolga All Stars and Accra Great Olympics respectively.
