Ghana Premier League players have been urged to train at home following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

Already, all sporting activities in the country including the 2019/20 league season have been suspended by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) following the ban on public gatherings.

Hence, most clubs have break camp as part of precautionary measures to prevent the rapid spread of the disease.

Also, leagues and competitions everywhere across the world have been forced to postpone games as governments battle to slow the spread.

The deadly virus has infected more than 400,000 persons around the world, killing nearly 20,000 and bringing the whole world to a near standstill.

Ghana has confirmed 52 cases of coronavirus and two deaths so far.
