Ghana Stops Uganda

Kampala, Feb. 3 -- The Ugandan national volleyball team received a set back in the on-going World Cup qualifiers in Sudan. The team lost 3-0 to Ghana yesterday.
The Ugandans had put up a spirited fight but run out of ideas to fall 25-20, 25-23, 25-20. Uganda led at least each set up to 22 points, but failed to hold their nerves.
Hosts Sudan also demolished Eritrea by 3-0 in the other game of the day. The Eritreans trailed right from the start to the finish of the game loosing 25-11, 25-13, 25-13 in the respective sets.
Only one team shall qualify for the next round play-offs.
