Accra, July 23, GNA - A ten member delegation of the Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) has left Accra for Cote d'Ivoire to participate in the third Edition of the Africa Table Tennis Federation's (ATTF) Laurent Gbagbo Table Tennis Championship. The delegation is made up of seven players and three officials of the GTTA.
Accra, July 23, GNA - A ten member delegation of the Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) has left Accra for Cote d'Ivoire to participate in the third Edition of the Africa Table Tennis Federation's (ATTF) Laurent Gbagbo Table Tennis Championship. The delegation is made up of seven players and three officials of the GTTA.
The team is made up of Derek Tawiah Abrefa, Felix Lartey and Cythia Kwabi for the Under-18 category with Samuel Akayade and Isaac Davies going for the Under-15 category of the competition. Mr Kwame Amponfi Jnr, General Secretary of the Association told the both the boys and girls categories as well as in the Mixed Doubles. Officials accompanying the team were, Anthony Owusu Ansah - head coach, Kwame Amponfi Jnr, General Secretary and Team Manager and Mawuko Afadzinu Executive Member of the of the GTTA. Other members of the team include Samuel Adjei Adjetey - Driver and Jubal Kweku Amedetor (cameraman). The contingent is expected back in Ghana on Wednesday, 28th July.
