Ghana's U-20 team will face their Italian counterparts in an international friendly on November 9, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed.

The match forms part of preparations for the Black Satellites ahead of future competitions including the qualifying rounds for the 2013 CAF U-20 Championship.

According to the GFA, the team will also engage the youth team of Parma three days later to round-up their tour of Italy.

Twenty players have been called for camping on Monday, October 24 at the national technical centre dubbed "Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence" ahead of the two games.

The team will be handled by the GFA Technical Director, Francis Oti Akenteng during the Italian trip.

Ghana made history in 2009 by becoming the first African country to win the FIFA U-20 FIFA World Cup held in Egypt.
