Ghana U20 coach Jimmy Cobblah is anticipating a tough encounter against Benin in the African Cup qualifier.

The Black Satellites must beat Benin over two legs to qualify for the African championships to be staged next year in Niger.

Ghana hosts their opponents in the first leg of the ultimate qualification tie this Saturday at the Cape Coast Stadium with the hope of securing a resounding result to render the return encounter a mere formality.

But coach Jimmy Cobblah believes Benin will be tough to beat having scouted them prior to Saturday’s clash.

“I watched them in Togo when they played the Port club and I can say they are a very good side,” he told FootballMadeInGhana.com.

“We must expect a very tough game. It won’t be easy but I believe my team can win.”

The Black Satellites have over the years significantly contributed players into the Black Stars hence their importance.

Ghana is determined to make amends this term having failed to qualify for the last edition of the Africa U20 championships staged and won by Zambia.
