The Ghana Football Association has confirmed the national Under-20 female team will embark on a training tour of South Africa ahead of the All Africa Games later this year.
The Black Princesses produced an awe-inspiring performance on Sunday to beat highly fancied Nigeria 2-1 in the final qualifying round.
The trip is expected to fortify the squad and enhance their medal winning chances.
”In anticipation of this game we had started high level discussion with the Sports ministry over a training tour of South Africa for the team and now that they have secured qualification we’re moving in top gear to ensure they embark on that trip,” Ghana FA Vice President Fred Pappoe said.
”Winning bonuses due the girls will not delay at all and they’ll be duly rewarded for their effort in lifting the women’s game on the continent.”
The 10th All-Africa Games will take place on 3-18 September in Maputo, Mozambique.
