Ghana Premier League giants, Accra Hearts of Oak have announced the contract extension of defender Fatawu Mohammed.
In a statement on the club's official website, the team revealed Fatawu has agreed to stay on with the Phobians for another two years.
"Accra Hearts of Oak is pleased to announce that Fatawu Mohammed has extended his stay with the club."
"The defender is staying with Hearts till 2020."
Fatawu joined Hearts from now defunct Sogakope Red Bull Academy in 2013. The hardworking youngster impressed with Auroras before gaining promotion to the first team.
Last season, Fatawu was a key figure for Frank Nuttall’s side, playing in 26 games in the league.
He signed a two-year contract that would bring his association with the club to seven years.
