Ghana right-back Daniel Opare has welcomed newly signed Schalke 04 defender Baba Rahman to the German Bundesliga.
Rahman left English Premier League champions Chelsea to re-join the Gelsenkirchen-based club on a six-month loan deal after recovering from a knee injury.
The former Asante Kotoko defender spent the first half of last season on loan at the Bundesliga club before he sustained a serious knee injury during the Africa Cup of Nations where he was representing the Black Stars.
However, he will now aim to churn regular playing time for the Blue, who currently occupy third place in the Bundesliga standings. Following the completion of his switch, Opare took to his twitter handle to welcome his compatriot back into the Bundesliga. Welcome back to Germany @babarahmangh ???? it was nice to see you.
