Ghana have earned US$ 175,000 for qualifying to the quarter-final of the 2014 African Nations Championship.
Maxwell Konadu’s side topped Group C with seven points after beating Congo and Ethiopia and drawing 1-1 with Libya.
Ghana will face DR Congo on Sunday in the first quarter-final clash at Mangaung’s Free State Stadium.
The Local Black Stars will earn US$ 250,000 if they advance to semi-final and finish either third or fourth.
The winner of this year’s tournament will pocket US$ 750,000 and the runners-up will be paid US$ 400,000.
The Confederation of African Football has announced that a total of US$ 3.2 million will be paid out as prize monies for this year’s tournament in South Africa.
