Ghana sweeps three awards at the CAF Awards night in Cairo as Asamoah Gyan misses out of the African Footballer of the Year.
The Most promising talent award, Coach of the year and National team of the year prizes all went Ghana's way.
Gyan was beaten to the top award by Cameroon's Samuel Eto'o who was named African Footballer of the Year Monday for the 2010 award ahead Ivory Coast's Didier Drogba, who came third. It was Eto'o's fourth award.
The announcement came at the CAF awards in Cairo where various personalities were rewarded by the sport body for their individual brilliance for the year under review.
Gyan, 25, was a finalist for the first time. The award was decided by a vote of Africa's 53 national team coaches.
Ghana's Kwadwo Asamoah was named the Most Promising Talent. And he beat off competition from Algeria's Ryad Boudebouz and Moussa Maazou from Niger.
Ex-Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac picked the Coach of the Year prize.
The national side, the Black Stars were crowned with the National Team award ahead of Algeria and Egypt.
President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi received the 'President Award' alongside six other federation heads from Egypt, Algeria, South Africa, Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Cameroon. It's an award set up for those who have worked significantly to the development of football.
