Popular football correspondent Tancredi Palmeri has hinted that the Ghana Football Association is close to signing Italian coach Fabrizio Ravanelli in place of the out-of-contract Grant.
Tancredi who is best known for football transfer information said in a tweet that Ghana who has parted ways with Israeli coach Avram Grant after two years have the Italian on their radar.

Fabrizio Ravanelli is a former international footballer, who was until 2 November 2013 the manager of French Ligue 1 club AC Ajaccio.
He is a former youth team coach for Italian giants Juventus.
Meanwhile the Ghana Football Association has set up a six-man team led by FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi in a desperate hunt for Grant’s replacement.
