Ghana coach wins Borak praise

Serbian club FC Borak have lavished praise on Ghana's new coach Milovan Rajevac after the side made further history by reaching the first round of the Uefa Cup.

The 54-year-old received the glowing tribute after the side knocked much experienced Lokomotiv Sofia to reach Borak reached the Uefa Cup first round.

This comes few days after the Serbian left the club to coach the Black Stars, having led Borak to first leg 1-0 win over the Bulgarians.

The Serbians came from a goal down in Bulgaria to complete a 2-1 aggregate victory over Lokomotiv to qualify for the first round for the first time.

Borak officials were estatic after the game pointing to the influence of the Ghana coach of their recent successes.

"This is the best time in our history but the main architect Mr Rajevac is not here to see the fruits of his work," club president Predrag Teofilovic said.

"We are grateful the work Mr. Rajevac did here and we want to thank the current coach for continuing with the policy."

The Ghana coach was measured in receiving the praise, giving credit to the mental strength for the players of the club.

"Its a very great moment for Borak but I don't know if I deserve all the credit if the players did not respond to my work there," Rajevac told Ghanasoccernet.

Boban Stojanovi?'s 36th-minute penalty made the difference, levelling the scores on the night after Lokomotiv striker Dimo Atanasov had cancelled out Borac's slender first-leg lead.
