Defender Jonathan Mensah has stated his readiness for the 2019 Major League Soccer season with Columbus Crew.
Mensah is in his third season with the Gold and Blacks and is poised for the 2019 campaign after helping the club to play-offs spot in 2018.
The former Anzhi Makhachkala defender posted on Twitter, "Year 3, let’s make it a great one."
The 28-year-old had a good 2018 season, where he was adjudged the Crew's defender of the year after playing 30 games and scoring a goal.
Columbus Crew will begin the new season on Saturday when they host Eastern Conference rivals New York Red Bulls at the Mafre Stadium.
Jonathan Mensah will be expected to start in new coach Caleb Porter's first competitive game with the Ohio based club.
The stalwart defender could be joined by compatriots Harrison Afful and Lalas Abubakar in defence.
