Ghana dropped six places in the latest FIFA rankings after the Black Stars' abysmal outing in September.
The poor performance in two games has seen the West African giants drop to 70th in the world and 14th in Africa.
Ghana were ranked 64th in the world and 12th in Africa in the previous ranking after winning two games in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
However, a defeat to Angola and a one-all draw with Niger in September have caused the four-time African champions to fall on the ladder.
In contrast, Nigeria remains unchanged despite a win and a draw in September, as they sit in sixth place.
At the top of the Africa rankings, Morocco hold the lead, with Senegal, Egypt, Ivory Coast, and Tunisia rounding out the top five.
