The Black Stars dropped one place down in the latest FIFA/ Cocla World Rankings released on Thursday ahead of this month’s World Cup qualifier against Sudan.
Ghana is now 20th on the table in the March edition after being leapfrogged by Belgium.
The Black Stars however gains 18 points more to accumulate 883 points.
The team is still ranked above newly crowned African champions Nigeria on the continent.
Nigeria have moved to fourth on the continent with their perennial rivals still occupying the second-table.
Ivory Coast are first with Mali third on the table.
World champions Spain maintain their first position, followed by Germany and Argentina.
