Ghana in pole position to win Afcon 2015 - Nasiru

A former Black Starlets captain Nasiru Mohammed believes Ghana can win the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea if the team stays united.

Speaking in an interview with Goal Ghana, the 20-year-old BK Hacken attacker is optimistic the Black Stars are capable judging from their recent performances.

“I think Ghana have the chance to win the Afcon because looking at the way they qualified from their group, it wasn't easy and so if they remained united as the way they did in the qualifiers, they can win the trophy,” Nasiru said.

Meanwhile, Nasiru is keen to get a call-up very soon in the Black Stars due to his consistent form and hard work at club level.

“I'm expecting to get a call-up at the senior team level because I know I'm doing my best at club level. I know with hard work I will earn a call-up very soon,” Nasiru added.
