Ghana has summoned 26 players to begin preparations for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in India later this year.
The squad will assemble at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
Surprisingly, Paa Kwasi Fabin's list includes 14 of 21 players, who played at the recent African championship in Gabon, where Ghana finished second to book qualification for the global showpiece.
Conspicuously missing are playmaker Emmanuel Toku, centre-back Faisal Osman, right-back Najeeb Yakubu and goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim, who were all regular starters at the AFCON.
The group stage draw for the World Cup, which runs between October 6 and 28, comes off on Friday
