Rising Ghanaian youngster Joseph Kwabena Yeboah says he will not rule out playing for Italy on international level despite admitting Ghana remains his first choice.
The 16-year-old has got his football career back on track with a move to Sassuolo following the financial crisis that hit Parma to force out several players.
Yeboah, who was born in Ghana but joined his parents in Italy in 2012, took up football as his preferred trade to put his immense talent to good use.
The defender who wants to model his life along the path of Brazilian star Dani Alves is also eyeing a fine run in international football.
Yeboah says his first preference in international football is to play for Ghana with future expectations of an invitation from Italy.
“Ghana is always my first option,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
“I was born in Ghana so would like to play for the nation.
“If I am approached by Italy, I would have to speak to Ghana first before taking any decision.”
