Ghana's Sports Minister Clement Kofi Humado insists there won't be any excuses to miss out on winning the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
Pressure is beginning to mount on the Black Stars after connoisseurs tagged the team favourites for the continental silverware.
The 2010 Fifa World Cup quarter-finalist continued their fine form by qualifying for the Nations Cup finals unbeaten.
Humado is brimming with optimism that a fifth continental title could be realized at Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
"Our performances over the past years clearly show we’re destined to win the title next year. We’ll put everything in place to ensure we win the title," Humado said
"You look at our performance in Angola, and what we did at the world and then followed it up with a nice run in the qualifying round for the Nations Cup, and I tell you we’ll win the cup.
"We believe the other teams will be tough but I have absolute faith in the current crop of players and they will make us proud in the Nations Cup."
Ghana's last Nations Cup triumph was in Libya 1982.
