The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi is confident that, the country is ready to host the 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations.
According to him, Ghana is experienced enough when it comes to hosting CAF organised competitions and preparations are going on according to plan. He anticipates a good competition at the end.
“Ghana is ready for the 2018 AWCON hosting. This is not the first time we are going to host CAF Competition. We have hosted a lot of CAF competitions. Cape Coast and Accra will host the games. That’s why we closed down the Accra Sports Stadium for renovation” the GFA President told Accra based Zylophone FM.
He added that hotel accommodation for teams that will come won’t be a problem. “In terms of hotels and those things we are so much experienced so we won’t struggle”. Ghana’s Queens will be hosting seven other countries from the continent later this year.
