Ghana's Albert Adomah makes injury return to Aston Villa

Ghana international Albert Adomah returned to action for Aston Villa who suffered their first defeat of the 2017/18 campaign against Cardiff City in the Welsh capital.

The winger was cleared to start for the Villans and managed Steve Bruce played him for 60 minutes. He replaced injured El Mohamady in the 31st minute but his contribution proved futile.

The Ghanaian missed the first two games of the season due to an ankle injury he picked up in pre-season.
