Ghana’s Ambassador to Ivory Coast donates to Black Queens ahead of WAFU opener

Ghana's Ambassador to Ivory Coast HE Frederick Daniel Laryea and some staff of the Embassy visited and presented gifts to the Black Queens on Tuesday.

The Ambassador presented the items to the team after their training session this afternoon as they prepare for Wednesday's WAFU Women's tournament opener against the host nation.

Ghana will face hosts Ivory Coast in the opening match of Group A at the Houphouet Boigny Stadium.

They will also face Niger Republic, and Burkina Faso in the preliminary rounds.

The eight team tournament will run from February 14 to 24.
