Former Inter Allies captain Joseph Aidoo could leave Sweden’s Hammarby IF this summer, his agent has hinted.
According to Patrick Mörk, the time is right for the centre-back who has been a pillar for the side to move on for stronger challenges and good money.
“We are very consistent with Hammarby that it is the right time to sell Joseph Aidoo,” Mörk told Sport Express.
“He has established himself in the headlines, and there will be a good club, he is ready to go.
“Then I think it’s a win-win situation for all if Aidoo is sold for a good transfer fee.
“It would be a good indication that Hammarby also can sell players for good money considering the other clubs like Stockholm who have sold many players abroad recently.”
In August 2015, Aidoo, 21, joined the side on an initial half-season loan from Ghana Premier League side, Inter Allies. He then earned a three-year permanent deal and went on to make 17 appearances in the 2016 season.
Joseph Aidoo has made 9 appearances for Hammarby in the Allsvenskan so far this season and won three man-of-the-match accolades.
Early May, reports from Turkey claimed Trabzonspor had expressed interest in signing the former Ghana Under-20 player.
