Ghana’s New Boxing Hope

Tue, 6 Apr 2010 Source: sharon nyantekyi

Ray Narh has done it! He has claimed the WBC USNBS lightweight title with his spectacular victory against Angel Hernandez. Narh, who has been named Ghana’s new hope after Clottey’s disappointing performance against Pacquiao, stopped Hernandez in the second round of their ten round bout. Narh dominated Hernandez from the first blow to the very last. Brutal body shots and a killer left hook dropped Hernandez the very first round. Narh’s strength and agility was no match for his opponent who was knocked out again in the second round with a heavy right hand. Hernandez rose again in the second round only to face a crushingly devastating uppercut followed by Narh’s legendary right hook that sent Hernandez straight to the canvas.
