President and owner of Division One League side Skyy FC, Wilson Arthur, has insisted that Ghana football's Normalisation Committee should meet their expectations within the stipulated period without any extension.

The four-man team was appointed by Fifa in August to run the day-to-day activities of the sport in the country following Ghana FA's dissolution in June due to corrupt practices.

The committee has until March 31 next year to finalise their activities before a final decision will be taken on whether to extend its mandate or not.

"The clubs will not accept any decision from the Normalisation Committee when they seek an extension from Fifa after March 31, 2019," Arthur told Nhyira Sports.

"The clubs are ready to oppose that decision so they should be in a hurry to execute their mandate. This is because the clubs and players are suffering. They should consider us and them regardless everything and do what will favour everyone.

"I think we have to get our game back and do the needful as a result. Football is the passion of the country. Ghana is a football nation and deserves the best. Everything which is expected must be met because the talents here are suffering because football has been suspended," he added.
