Ghana’s Osei-Tutu notches 5th league goal for Bochum

Ghanaian forward Jordi Osei-Tutu snatched a point for VFL Bochum in their 2-2 draw at home to Greuther Fürth.

The Ghanaian – born English who’s on loan from the English side, Arsenal scored his side’s decisive second goal in their comeback win in the Bundesliga II on Sunday afternoon.

Swedes attacker, Branimir Hrgota broke the deadlock seven minutes into the action to put the visitors 1 – 0 in the opening quarter of the match.

On the 43rd minutes, Thomas Eisfeld’s pass was latched on by Robert Tesche to grab the equalizer for the host to make the score one-all going into the interval.

Seven minutes after the break, Manuel Wintzheimer put Osei-Tutu through on goal with an inch-perfect pass which the 21-year-old made no mistake after going round the goalkeeper to slot home the second for the Blue and Whites.

11 minutes to full time, Sebastian Ernst popped up with a world-class finish to restore parity for the away team making the score 2-2 with all to play for in the last 10 minutes of action.

Both teams could not convert the chances that came their way as the pressure got to both sets of players and the game finished two goals apiece on a sunny afternoon in Bochum.

Osei-Tutu has five goals and two assists in 19 outings for his side this term.
