Ghana’s Richard Commey ranked number 6 By WBC

Ghana’s world title hopeful, Richard Commey (25-2-, 22 KO’s), has made a massive improvement in the the latest World Boxing Council (WBC), ranking.

Commey, has been ranked sixth by the WBC, an indication that he is gradually making progress towards the world title.

The Ghanaian lightweight boxer, was ranked 9th after his last fight, till the recent ranking by the WBC.

Commey, may have to fight one of the contenders in the first five of the WBC ranking.

With the latest ranking, the Ghanaian is now ranked above former WBA lightweight champion Anthony Crolla and former WBC lightweight champion Dejan Zlaticanin.

The James Town native last month won the vacant WBC international silver lightweight via a unanimous decision against Belgium’s Hedi Slimani.
