Currently, team Ghana is in two separate camps at Mensah Sarbah Hall at the University of Ghana and Simpa Hall at the University of Education, Winneba.

When contacted, Mr. Oti-Asirifi Mensah, who is the National Media Coordinator confirmed that some of the officials and the athletes were at Kantamanto alright but “they had gone there to do first selection for themselves”. ” Kantamanto is a common place for all manner of persons, so they went there to buy sports wear and some few items “, he told this reporter.

Grapevine sources say with 24 hours to the opening ceremony, Ghana’s Deaflympics team has neither training kits or kits for the games including track suits for the opening ceremony.
