Ghana set to explode the African Continent!

WBF Bantamweight champion, Joseph Agbeko, will be making a non-title appearance over ten rounds on the 16th of May in Accra, Ghana against hard punching, former South African bantamweight champion, Cedric "Lights Out" Conway.

Scheduled for ten rounds, the fight will certainly not be going the distance. The reason I say this is because both men are hard punchers, Conway is yet to go the distance in his 18 professional contests, in which he has 15 wins (15kos) - thats right - he has won all his fights via the short route and has 3 losses all by way of stoppage too!

Agbeko, who is currently training at the Kronk gym in London for this contest is unbeaten in 13 fights with 11kos. A hard puncher with a limited defence, he won the W.B.F. bantamweight title with a second round stoppage over Mike Kizza. Agbeko is a former unbeaten All-African Bantamweight champion.

Conway, a murderous puncher who completely destroyed Johannes Maisa for the South African Bantamweight title in one round in Feb 2002, defended his title once before being stopped in his second defence against Vusi Malinga in three rounds, in a huge upset for South African boxing.

Conway has not fought since that huge upset and is surely hungry for victory against a "world" champion. A bombs away fight for sure.

Prediction: Who ever lands first wins!
