Ghana striker Patrick Twumasi is celebrating after winning the Kazakh Premier League with for the fourth successive time with giants Astana.
FC Astana won the Kazakh Premier League title on Sunday after the title race went down to the final day.
The title success comes just a day before the striker flies out to join the Ghana national team for next week's World Cup qualifier against Egypt in Cape Coast.
Astana beat Akzhayik Oral 2-0 on Sunday to secure the title, with its closest rival Kairat Almaty finishing one point behind to take second place for the third year running.
The Kazakh league system is played on a calendar-year basis because of the harsh winters in the Central Asian nation.
Astana was only founded in 2009 but has grown rapidly with backing from the Kazakh government's sovereign wealth fund.
It became the first Kazakh club to reach the Champions League group stage in 2015-16 and is in the group stage of the Europa League this season.
