Ghana to host 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations

The Ghana Football Association has confirmed receiving an official mandate from CAF as hosts for the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations.

The message was delivered to members of Congress on Monday at the Ghanaman Soccer School of Excellence.

It will be the first time Ghana will be hosting the flagship women's competition on the continent.

Ghana finished third at this year's final in Cameroon-which was highly patronized-after beating South Africa 1-0.
