Asante Kotoko's Maxwell Baakoh will not be playing for 6 months because of injury
Asante Kotoko has been dealt a major blow with Maxwell Baakoh set to be out for 6 months with a shin injury.
Maxwell Baakoh’s season looks all but over after aggravating his injury during the team final training session last Friday.
According to the C K Akonnor, the player for so long was playing with the injury for some time now but aggravated it during their final preparation to face Nkana FC.
“Maxwell Baakoh is injured and he will be out for some time. He has been playing with the injury for some time now. But he aggravated it during our final session.
“He will be out for about 12 weeks to 6 months. Depending on whether he will undergo a surgery.l or not. We will have to wait and see,” he said at the post-match press conference.
Maxwell Baakoh has scored two goals for Kumasi Asante in the Confederations Cup so far.
