Sassuolo ace Alfred Joseph Duncan is making a return to the senior national team after being named in coach Kwesi Appiah's squad for the AFCON qualifier against Kenya next week.
The inform midfielder has been knocking on the doors of the Black Stars since making his debut against Cape Verde in 2013 with some outstanding performances in Italy.
The player, who turned 26 on Sunday was rewarded with a call up to the national team following his impressive displays for Sassuolo this season.
The former Inter Milan Academy product has featured 18 times in the serie A this season and has three goals and three assists for the Nerovredi's.
Duncan's performances has not only earned him a return to the national team, but is also on the radar of Italian giants AC Milan, who look set to snap his signature in the summer.
The Black Stars are seeking revenge over the Harambee Stars after they defeated the side 1-0 in the first match of the group qualifiers in Nairobi last year.
The Ghana players will be seeking to silence Kenya and finish top of the group of the qualifiers ahead of the tournament to be played in Egypt in June.
