Black Stars deputy coach Maxwell Konadu has been fired with immediate effect.
Footballmadeinghana.com can exclusively reveal that the former Wa All Stars and Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach was shown the exit on Thursday following alleged threats by Kwesi Appiah that he will resign if Konadu continues.
A closed-door meeting was held between Appiah, Tanko, Konadu and the Minister of Youth and Sports Honorable Isaac Asiamah on Wednesday and the Black Stars head coach made it clear that he cannot work with Konadu anymore.
The Minister tried to settle the differences between Appiah and Konadu but the former threatened to stop the work if the later continues.
As at now, it is not known whether Konadu will still maintain his role as Local Black Stars coach.
