The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has said all officials who were shown in the recently aired documentary by ace journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas on bribery and corruption shall step aside from their positions and football related activities with immediate effect.
In a statement signed by Mr. Isaac Addo, the General of the GFA, the conduct of the said officials has been referred to the GFA Ethics Committee chaired by COP Kofi Boakye to go through the Judicial Process.
It added that GFA shall not interfere in the works of the Ethics Committee and shall embrace any decision that the Ethics Committee may come out with.
According to the statement, the Referees Appointment Committee has been dissolved, whilst all the competitions of the GFA have temporary been put on hold.
