Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has bemoaned his side's 1-0 defeat against Al Hilal in the opening group match of the 2018/19 CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors had a false start in the competition after Waleed Bakhiek Hamid handed the initiative to the Sudanese giants on the stroke of half time.
Despite putting up a strong performance in the second stanza of the game, Al Hilal managed to hold on to their slim lead to pick the maximum points.
Annan, who was superb on the day for Charles Akunnor's men, wailed at the final result but charged his teammates to keep focus in their subsequent matches in the competition.
"Not the results we wanted but we keep pushing and already focused now on the next game!Lotz to play for and we got to start picking up points! Thanks For Your Support ???? #TeamKotoko #CAFCC #OneTeam" he tweeted.
Kotoko will have a chance to get back to winning ways when they welcome Zambian giants ZESCO United to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on matchday two which is scheduled to come off on February 17.
