Alhaji Lepowura M.N.D Jawula believes the Black Stars of Ghana will shock the world at the up coming FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Speaking at the GFA headquarters in Accra, the former FA President was very confident that Ghana will reach the Semi Finals and if the favour of Allah is well with the team, they can win the Cup for Africa.

He said Ghana has very good players who can shine at ant time when given the right motivation and inspiration.

According to Jawula who the chairman of the MTN / FA Cup Committee, the Black Stars boast of tried and tested players and at the third appearance, they must have the experience and courage to beat all opposition and get into the medal zone.

He noted that the last World Cup could have been the time for Ghana to win the World Cup in Africa in South Africa, but an unfortunate handball by an Uruguay striker deprived the nation and Africa, but this time he believes the players have learnt their lessons and will never allow themselves to be cheated or intimidated.

He said the Black Stars also have talented rising stars like Christian Atsu who he described to be the next Abedi Pele or Talisma of the Black Stars and others like Rabiu Mohammed and Majeed Warris who can score vital goals that would make opponents cry.

He called on the various supporting groups to unite and sing one song as they follow the Black Stars
