Frenchman Phillipe Troussier, who is experienced in coaching African countries, says Ghana have a difficult task at the 2014 World Cup, but the Frenchman says the Black Stars can overcome the ‘Group of Death’ if they believe they can defeat their opponents.
The Black Stars have been handed a tough group in the tournament in Brazil where they face Germany, Portugal and the United States in Group G.
Pundits have condemned the Black Stars as the lowest ranked team in the group and are bound to be eliminated against Germany and Portugal who are ranked 2nd and 5th respectively by FIFA.
Despite accepting that Ghana faces a tough task in the group, Troussier says the Black Stars can triumph if they get rid of their complexes.
“Ghana [in Group G with Germany, Portugal and United States] and Cameroon [in Group A with Brazil, Croatia and Mexico] will find it difficult.
“But African football has no complexes any more, and they can all find reasons to dream.”
