Ghana youth goalkeeper Ati-Zigi promoted

Ghana youth goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi has been rewarded for his string of splendid performances for Liefering with a promotion to the Red Bull Salzburg first team side, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

The promising custodian, who turned 19 today, sat on the Red Bull Salzburg bench when they drew 1-1 with Grodig.

Ati, a star for Ghana at the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup, has maintained an impressive string of performances for Liefering in the second-tier league in Austria, and he has been elevated to the senior side.

Though the former Sogakope Red Bulls goalkeeper appeared in the first team once, he will be hoping to manage some game time this time round by ousting the regular first team goalkeeper.
