Laryea, Quincy & Sarpei missing in action
ENGLAND: In the Barclays Premiership, Black Stars goalie Richard Kingston made it into the first team but watched from the bench as an unused substitute as Wigan Athletic were held 0-0 at home by Stoke City.

Mustapha Riga is still out after sustaining an injury last weekend but Bolton Wanderers went to the KC Stadium and won 1-0 against Hull City.

In the Coca Cola Championship, Quincy Owusu- Abeyie was an unused substitute when Birmingham City went to the City Ground and drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest.

In other games, striker Chris Dickson came on for Jose Vitor Moreira Semedo in the 74th minute when Charlton Athletic drew 2-2 away with Plymouth at the Home Park. Elsewhere, Patrick Agyemang came on to replace Samuel Di Carmine in the 71st minute as Queens Park Rangers won 1-0 against Cardiff City at Loftus Road.

SCOTLAND: In the Scottish Premier League, Prince Buaben was sidelined when Dundee United hosted Aberdeen at Tannadice Park and won 2-1 whilst Black Stars winger Laryea Kingston was also missing in action when Heart of Midlothian beat St Mirren 1-0 away.

GERMANY: In the German Bundesliga, Jerome Boateng played for 90 minutes as Hamburg SV won 2-1 against Borussia Dortmund at the HSH Nordbank Arena. In other matches, Godfried Adoube started for SC Karlsruhe when they came back from three goals down to draw 3-3 with Bayer Leverkusen at the Wildparkstadion with Hans Adu Sarpei watching the game from the bench.

In the Bundesliga 2, Isaac Boakye started for Nurnberg but later gave way to Dominik Maroh in the 55th minute when they drew goalless with FSV Frankfurt at the Easy Credit Stadion.

FRANCE: In the French Ligue 1, Black Satellites captain Andre Dede Ayew came on to replace Morgan Amalfitano in the 72nd minute when Lorient lost 0-1 at home to Abeiku Quansah's OGC Nice. Abeiku watched the game from bench.

In other games, John Mensah was missing in action but Lyon managed a 1-0 away victory at Monaco whilst Moussa Narry saw 90 minutes of action despite seeing yellow in the 36th minute after AJ Auxerre lost 0-2 away to Girondin Bordeaux.

In the Ligue 2, Michael Helegbe was missing when En Avant Guingamp lost 1-2 at AC Ajaccio but Charles Boateng played 90 minutes when Dijon FCO drew 1-1 away at Vannes OC.

HOLLAND: In the Dutch Eredivisie, Black Stars forward Matthew Amoah got a brace in the 74th and in the 90th minutes respectively when NAC Breda travelled to De Graafschap to win 2-0.

Eric Addo didn't play when PSV Eindhoven traveled to NEC Nijmegen and lost 0-1. Elsewhere, both Emmanuel Boakye and Abubakari Yakubu watched the game from bench when Heracles Almelo and Vitesse Arnhem played a goalless drawn game at the Polman Stadion.

In the Eerste Divisie, Fred Benson scored a 90th minute goal when RKC Waalwijk went to the RBC Stadion and drew 2-2 with RBC Roosendaal but Anthony Obodai was a second half substitute for RKC as he came on for Anton Jongsma in the 81st minute.

OTHERS: In the Greek Super League, striker Bernard Yao Kumordzi was missing in action when Panionios went to the Toumbas Stadium and lost 0-2 to PAOK Salonika.

In the Belgian Jupiler League, Abdul Iddi Yekini was sidelined but Nana Akwasi Asare was in action for 89 minutes as KV Mechelen drew goaless at KV Kortrijk.

Elsewhere, Baffour Gyan and Shilla Illiasu were missing in action as Saturn Moscow won 1-0 away against YFK Shinnik Yaroslav in the Russian Premier League.

In the US, 22 year old Kumasi born Patrick Nyarko was an unused substitute as Chicago Fire qualified to the finals of the Eastern Conference in the MLS play-offs after thrashing New England 3-0 at the Toyota Park.

In the Swiss Super League, Joe Tex Frimpong watched his side Lucerne thrash FC Aarau 3-0 at their Allemand Stadium from the bench. Despite the win, Lucerne are still at the bottom of the 10-club league with a few games to go.
