Nana Antwi, a 24-year-old Ghanaian right-back, has officially joined FC Hermannstadt on loan from FCSB until the end of the season. In a spectacular video shared by the club, Antwi confidently announced, "Don't be afraid! Nana is here," signaling his readiness to make an impact.
FC Hermannstadt, founded in 2015, has quickly risen through the ranks of Romanian football. Based in Sibiu, the club has a rich history, earning promotion to Liga I in just three years. Known for their passionate fanbase and strong performances, Hermannstadt has established itself as a formidable force in Romanian football.
Despite Antwi's early promise at FCSB, where he played six matches across the Super League, UEFA Champions League preliminaries, and the Romanian Supercup, he did not fully convince the club's management. As a result, he was left out of the UEFA and Super League squads, leading to his loan move to Hermannstadt.
Antwi's previous clubs include Young Wise FC, Lori Wanadzor, Lille B, and F.C. Urartu.
